Dear Glenbrook Parents and Students,

 

In the next few weeks students will be participating in a cross-country skiing unit in physical education. This unit will take place on the fields behind Glenbrook and will introduce students to basic skiing equipment and skills. Some students have participated in this unit throughout elementary school while others might be skiing for the first time. Cross-country skiing is a great way to enjoy the outdoors in the winter and is an excellent exercise. Please make sure that students are prepared to be outside in the snow with appropriate clothing. Appropriate clothing includes jackets, gloves, hats, and snow pants or wind pants. This will be a fun unit especially with a positive attitude! Lets take advantage of the snow!!!

 

*Students should also be prepared to stay inside if the weather doessnt allow us to go outside.  It is suggested to keep a pair of regular PE clothes in your locker incase we stay inside.
